Bishops Quay Visitors Book!

Bishops Quay

Visitors Book

These are some of the testimonials from satisfied guests, written in the Bishops Quay Visitors Book:

We have stayed in different places all over England and the world - I can honestly say we have never received such a lovely welcome as the one we got at 'Bishops Quay'. A big Thank You Kate. A lovely house in a lovely setting run by a lovely lady! P family, New Year 09

Fantastic! From the moment we arrived we just relaxed. Thank you so much Kate for all of the pre-visit help for finding the perfect turkey and accessories for Christmas dinner...And for the Christmas Cake and mince pies too. We have truly enjoyed our visit here and hope to be back. Many many thanks for making Christmas 2008 so wonderful! The E family, Christmas 2008

Return visits are sometimes disappointing but not this one. Plenty to do, even in mid-winter and always a beautiful place to return to. Mr and Mrs A, Dec 08

Our 3rd visit at this time of year. Best weather so far! Still love this spot. Again your welcome, warmth and friendliness make all the difference - the 'extra mile' things. Thanks again for sharing Bishops Quay with us. Mr and Mrs S W, Nov 08

We've had a fantastic time here at BQ! It's always such a delight staying here, and we always look forward to it! The house is beautiful and extremely comfy! Thank you very very much it's been so lovely! And thank you for letting us use your boat, which is excellent! D has exclaimed about how the beds are "amazingly comfortable", many times and we all agree! A S, August 08

My family and I all really enjoyed Bishops Quay. One time (It was on a Tuesday) we went to the chocolate factory in Mullion. Dad, G and me went out in KT to have breakfast on a quay. My favourite thing was me, G, Mum and Dad went in the motor boat to meet some friends on the Helford River to have a cooked breakfast. E (aged 8), August 08

Another great BQ holiday. Too many highlights to list them all. But the moment that Georgie Girl or the red dory appear around the corner at speed and loaded to the gunwales with treasures from the deep has to be right up there for the two of our three boys who are old enough to walk and talk. Can't wait till next year for more of the same. C family, July 08

A true holiday! From the first till the last second. Warm but discreet welcome. You can measure a true master of cottage renting by the details. Everything is present, no worries. BQ has it all to become a home instead of a "standard" holiday residence. P family, June 08

So sad to leave your most extraordinary home in all of Cornwall! Still savouring the potatoes and eggs; the lovely tea and baked goods on our arrival set the scene for an incredible week at BQ. T's now doing a watercolour of your view - loved the working fishing dock, all so much fun. A high point was being on the river and sailing Swallow, would love to return to BQ! M family, June 08

We enjoyed sharing your wonderful quiet BQ. And were so lucky with the weather! A special thank you to Kate for her thoughtful touches, ie The welcome tray with tea and cake, wine, flowers in every room and even doggy treats for our dog. We were pleased to have some lovely fresh fish straight out of the boat from Ben. It is such a special place - we hope to return! Mrs and Mrs O, June 08

This is our 5th visit to BQ and it is as wonderful as ever. However it is the first visit for Harry (our dog) and even he arrived to special doggy treats. He finally was brave enough on the last day to jump off the jetty for a swim (he has also been canoeing). Thank you once again for everything, this really is a home from home and more than ever we don't want to leave. The R family, May 08

Our first visit to Bishops Quay - and what an introduction! Fantastic welcome - beautiful flowers everywhere and fabulous home-made goodies to indulge in - and then a three day heatwave as well! What more can we ask? It's been so relaxing - so hope we can make a return visit very soon. Many Thanks. Mr and Mrs G, May 08, May 08

Thanks Kate and Ben for another wonderful week at Bishops Quay. I have lost count of how many times we have visited but each time has been a perfect relaxing time for us. We are looking forward to the arrival of our first grandchild soon and cannot wait to introduce another generation to Bishops Quay. Mr and Mrs B, May 08

It is 15 years since our first visit and it seems like yesterday. Everything that we enjoy remains unchanged - Kate's scones and cakes and her bread, the Helford River, the fishing boats and the sadness of leaving. But knowing we shall return next year renews our happiness! Mr and Mrs M, April 08

Once again (9th time) Bishops Quay has not failed us. Perfect weather (rain wind and sun) perfect house and lovely landlords. The P family, April 08

An enchanting place, never have we felt so instantly at home outside of our own four walls! Everything is terrific. The tranquillity, the view, the warm welcome. The only drawback - our stay was too short! We will be back next year for longer. Mr and Mrs M, February 08
