KETTLE COTTAGE has been converted from a traditional stone barn. It has whitewashed stone walls, and high ceilings with exposed beams.
There are tiled floors with lots of pretty rugs, and a woodburning stove. The English Tourist Board have awarded us a Commended on their 3 Keys Rating, which indicates a high standard.The cottage faces south over a large, sunny garden and lawns. It has all the accommodation on the ground floor. There is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with an electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Glazed doors open from the living room onto a private and secluded patio with views over the valley.
There is one bedroom with a 5ft double bed and bathroom with bath and shower. In addition there is a comfortable sofa bed in the living area. The cottage is ideal for two, but has room enough for four people. Small children can be provided with folding foam beds.
Heating is by storage heaters and a woodburning stove: we supply you with logs free of charge. We provide a colour TV and video player; there are video libraries in nearby Liskeard.
