From £400 + VAT depending on the size of the site. A review is the first step towards either improving your site or having a new one made, but you are not committed to any particular outcome. Many clients find this a reassuring start. See what we do in a website review.
A new website
We charge £1,200 to £1,500 + VAT for making a site of eight to ten pages. You will have a top-level address, www.yourname.co.uk, and you own your site. You have to rent your own domain name and Web space (about £60 + VAT a year) and pay for all updates and changes at consultancy rates (scroll down to training below). There are many good reasons why you should choose Select Ideas to make your site.
Join the Select Ideas website
This is the cheapest option, but we decide who may join as we like to keep a balance of members. You pay an annual fee, to be agreed individually, and a one-off fee for making the site. Typically, you would pay £300 + VAT in the first year and £100 + VAT a year after that. You have a sub-domain address, www.selectideas.co.uk/yourname. We own your site and retain editorial discretion over how you are listed and written up in our news.
The advantages are that the administration and maintenance are done for you and you belong to an established site with a good number of inward links, so you should be easily found by search engines and you may get business from other members. Virtual office at webspacewest.com
Renting a virtual office starts at £150 + VAT a year and is open to anyone. It costs a little more than joining the Select Ideas website because you have the option of extra facilities such as a database. The administration and maintenance is done for you. You have a second-level address, www.webspacewest.com/yourname. We retain ownership of your site and there are no listings or write-ups. Find out more.
Training and any other work
We will train you to update your site or update it for you. For this type of work we charge our consultancy rate, £50 an hour + VAT.
