Singing lessons

Catharine teaches students and experienced singers who want to improve their technique and performance. She also takes children, and members of choirs who want to enjoy choral singing to the full.

Lessons are £30 an hour. Shorter lessons for children are £22 for three-quarters of an hour.

Tuesday - Friday 10am - 8pm
Saturday 10am - 3.30pm

You will learn about breathing, posture, sight-singing and any theory that is relevant to your needs. You will be given your own set of technical exercises, which you will be expected to practise.

Catharine has an ear for detail and will bring out the best in you, and lessons are fun. She also organises concerts to give pupils the opportunity to sing with a professional pianist at an informal evening with other pupils and their families and friends. Have a look at a recent concert programme.
