About us

Julia Swann MBCS: first studied computing in the 1960s, and has been training users for over 15 years. Before joining Second Power, she spent over 10 years as IT Manager at a Research Consultancy in Covent Garden, where she had responsibility for supporting 50 computers, and for introducing and using a wide range of software. Her job involved managing the firm’s IT function and supporting and training 30-40 users to a high skill level. She has had over 20 years’ experience in the IT field; she is a qualified teacher, and has done research into the adoption and impact of IT in the UK Office Sector. She is a member of the REACH IT Advisory Panel.
