The Chopin Society UK
We redesigned The Chopin Society’s website for the bicentenary celebrations. The site provides information about forthcoming concerts and membership of the society, as well as a searchable archive of past concerts. It has become an important part of the society’s communication with its members.
Juliet Harmer, artist and illustrator
Artist Juliet Harmer wanted a site to exhibit the paintings she is offering for sale. The website also shows illustrations from her book Magic of Herbs and Flowers, her children’s calendar and her illuminated letters, all of which can be made into greetings cards.
The family of LTC Rolt, writer and engineer, asked us to make a site devoted to his life and works that would promote his ideas and maintain interest in his books. The variety of Rolt’s expertise and enthusiasms enabled us to create an attractive website about this fascinating and influential man.
Susannah Ross, Editorial Training & Consultancy
We commissioned a graphic designer to design a visually interesting site for a business that is all about text. We drew up the structure, planned the navigation and wrote the content. The main pages were coded for us in WordPress, and we developed and added to them to complete the site.
Sarah Bryant, artist
We designed a site with a dark background to show off Sarah’s paintings. We organised her work into themes so as to make it easier for users to find what they particularly liked.
Elton Engineering Books
Julia Elton’s site has detailed descriptions of the many antiquarian books about engineering and technology that she is offering for sale. She stocks rare source books and manuscripts in all the major European languages, right across the range of disciplines, including building and architecture.
Patricia Touton-Victor, psychotherapist and counsellor
Patricia Touton-Victor offers psychotherapy and counselling in North-West London to help people through difficult times in their lives. Her site explains the different services she offers and how she has helped people in the past.
Catharine Robinson, London singing teacher
Catharine needed a website to promote her singing teaching and voice coaching. She wanted potential pupils to speak to her on the telephone to discuss their needs, so there’s no email address or contact form on the site: just information about her career, her lessons and the successes of her pupils.
Susan Howe, entertaining speaker
Susan’s theme is History Minus the Boring Bits and her talks are hugely popular. Her website reflects her eventful life and her success as an entertaining speaker at all kinds of gatherings.
